IndiGo flight 6E 1303 from Mumbai to Doha was cancelled after multiple delays on Sunday due to technical issues. Despite multiple attempts to take off, the airline had to cancel the flight due to long delays. According to news agency ANI, the flight had 250 to 300 passengers, who were stranded at the Mumbai airport. The flight was scheduled to take off at 3.55 am.

An airline spokesperson apologized for the flight cancellation and said it was arranging for passengers to stay in hotels and booking them on alternative flights to take them to their final destinations. Earlier, when the flight was cancelled, passengers were asked to stay on board for five hours while immigration formalities were completed. Passengers were not allowed to deplane.

Eventually, due to technical problems with the aircraft, the passengers were asked to deplane and had to wait in the airport waiting area. According to media reports, the stranded passengers claimed that they were not provided with food or water, and no airline officials were even willing to talk to them. On Friday, an Indigo flight from Mumbai to Phuket was diverted to Penang, Malaysia due to bad weather. The airline has provided this information.
