Indigenous anti-tank missile successfully tested in Pokhran, new name of MP-ATGM

DRDO successfully test fired indigenous Man-Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM) at Pokhran Field Firing Range in Rajasthan. Its video has also surfaced. Which you can see here below… This missile can destroy enemy tanks and armored vehicles.

In future it will also be deployed in the main battle tank Arjun. In the Pokhran test, MPATGM hit the target with complete accuracy. This indigenous anti-tank missile is equipped with a Tandem High Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT) weapon, which can pierce armored vehicles with state-of-the-art Explosive Reactive Armor (ERA) armour. This means that no tank or armored vehicle of today’s time can escape from this.

Many trials have been done for this. Its weight is 14.50 kg. Length is 4.3 feet. Two people are required to fire it. Its range is from 200 meters to 2.50 km. After its induction into the army, the old versions of Milan-2T made in France and Conquers anti-tank guided missiles made in Russia will be removed.
