Rahul Gupta told that he is going with his family and Namo Bharat is a journey that will compete with Delhi Metro. He had booked a cab, but it did not come. Now he is going by train. Some people say that the fare of this train is high. There was a slight argument between two passengers regarding this. A passenger said that the fare is high. At the same time, Rahul’s wife told that she is going to her house to tie Rakhi for her brother. Traveling by train saved my husband’s cab money.

Sakshi, who was traveling in the train with her children, told that she is a resident of Modinagar. She was married in Delhi and had come to Modinagar to tie Rakhi to her brother. Namo Bharat train reached Sahibabad from Meerut in just 30 minutes

Namo Bharat train left for Sahibabad from Meerut railway station at 2 pm yesterday i.e. on 18 August 2024 and the train completed the journey of 42 kilometers in just 30 minutes at a speed of 160 km per hour. This train reached from Meerut South to Modinagar North, Modinagar South, Muradnagar, Duhai Station, Ghaziabad and from there to Sahibabad. The people of Meerut seemed very happy with the running of this train and expressed their gratitude to the government. However, the train will reach other stations of Meerut also soon, but currently work is going on at other stations due to which it is being operated till Meerut South station.

Please note that Meerut South RRTS station has been opened for passenger operations. With the addition of this 8 km additional section, a total of 42 km of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor is now operational, which includes 9 stations from Sahibabad in Ghaziabad to Meerut South in Meerut.

At the same time, Namo Bharat trains will be available for passengers on the entire section from Sahibabad to Meerut South from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. The first train in both directions will depart at 6:00 am and the last train will depart at 10:00 pm from terminal stations Sahibabad and Meerut South. One-way concessional fare of Namo Bharat train will be Rs 110/- for standard class from Sahibabad to Meerut South and Rs 90/- for standard class from Ghaziabad to Meerut South.

Meerut South RRTS station will have the largest parking facility in the RRTS corridor in Uttar Pradesh, which will increase the convenience of passengers. Two parking lots located on either side of the entry/exit gates of the station have been built over an area of ​​approximately 13,000 square metres. About 1,200 four-wheelers and two-wheelers can be parked in these parking spaces. Apart from this, dedicated parking is also available for auto-rickshaws.

The station has been designed to facilitate easy pick-up and drop-off for vehicles coming from both Meerut and Delhi, with direct access from the main road. For the convenience of disabled passengers, the station includes a parking area and ramps for easy access, so that they can easily travel in Namo Bharat train.

Let us tell you that Meerut South Station is the first station of Meerut, around which areas like Mohiuddinpur, Bhudbaral, Bahadurpur, Aminagar, Chhajjupur, Kharkhoda, Kadarabad etc. come. With the opening of this station, travel has become easier for these passengers. With the commencement of Namo Bharat train service from Meerut South, passengers will be able to reach Sahibabad in about 30 minutes.

Apart from RRTS trains, this station will also provide local metro services for Meerut region. At the same time, the station has three tracks on three platforms. Two Namo Bharat trains and one for metro services. This station has three levels: ground, mezzanine, concourse and platform. Its length is approximately 215 meters, width is 36 meters and height is 22 meters.
