Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to gift the country new Vande Bharat trains on 15 September. The Vande Bharat trains that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate include Vande Bharat trains running between Varanasi to Deoghar and Gaya to Howrah. The Vande Bharat train running between Varanasi and Deoghar via Gaya-Nawada-Kiul will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 15 September. The inaugural special Vande Bharat train will run from Deoghar to Banaras. After this, from September 16, this train will run regularly between Varanasi and Deoghar. From September 16, 2024, train number 22500/22499 Varanasi-Deoghar-Varanasi Vande Bharat train will be operated regularly. This train will run from Varanasi and Deoghar six days a week except Tuesday.

Train no 22500 Varanasi – Deoghar Vande Bharat Express will leave Varanasi at 06.20 hrs, stopping at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. at 07.00 hrs, Sasaram at 08.15 hrs, Gaya at 09.25 hrs, Nawada at 10.20 hrs, Kiul at 11.30 hrs, Jasidih at 13.15 hrs and will reach Deoghar at 13.40 hrs. In the return journey, train no 22499 Deodhar – Varanasi Vande Bharat Express will leave Deoghar at 15.15 hrs, stopping at Jasidih at 15.22 hrs, Kiul at 16.40 hrs, Nawada at 17.48 hrs, Gaya at 19.10 hrs, Sasaram at 20.18 hrs and Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. at 21.30 hrs and will reach Varanasi at 22.30 hrs.

This train will run as an inaugural special from Gaya on 15 September 2024 and will be operated regularly between Gaya and Howrah from 18 September 2024. During regular operation, train number 22303/22304 Howrah-Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat train will be operated regularly from 18 September 2024. This train will run six days a week from Gaya and Howrah except Thursday.

Train number 22303 Howrah – Gaya Vande Bharat Express will leave Howrah at 06.50 hrs, stopping at Durgapur at 08.28 hrs, Asansol at 08.53 hrs, Dhanbad at 09.43 hrs, Parasnath at 10.13 hrs, Koderma at 10.58 hrs and will reach Gaya at 12.30 hrs. In the return journey, train number 22304 Gaya – Howrah Vande Bharat Express will leave Gaya at 15.15 hrs, stopping at Koderma at 16.15 hrs, Parasnath at 17.15 hrs, Dhanbad at 18.00 hrs, Asansol at 18.48 hrs, Durgapur at 19.11 hrs and will reach Howrah at 21.05 hrs.

Giving information in this regard, CPRO of East Central Railway Saraswati Chandra said that Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the operation of six Vande Bharat Express trains on 15 September 2024. In this sequence, the operation of Vande Bharat train running between Varanasi and Deoghar will be inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister by flagging off train number 02249 Baidhnathdham-Varanasi Vande Bharat Inauguration Special. On 15 September 2024, train number 02249 Baidhnathdham-Varanasi Vande Bharat Inauguration Special will leave Baidhnathdham at 11.00 am and reach Jasidih at 11.15 am, Kiul at 13.20 pm, Nawada at 15.15 pm, Gaya at 16.25 pm, Sasaram at 18.15 pm and Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction at 19.55 pm. It will reach Varanasi at 21.00 pm.

He further informed that in the same sequence, the operation of Vande Bharat train running between Gaya and Howrah will also be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister by flagging off train number 02304 Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Inauguration Special. He informed that on 15th September 2024, train number 02304 Gaya-Howrah Vande Bharat Inauguration Special will leave Gaya at 11.00 am and reach Koderma at 12.05 pm, Parasnath at 13.25 pm, Dhanbad at 14.30 pm, Asansol at 15.40 pm, Durgapur at 16.25 pm and reach Howrah at 19.00 pm.
