Deepika scored the only goal of the match for India. The Indian women’s hockey team maintained their dominance throughout the match without losing a single match. The Indian team defeated the Chinese team to win the Asian Champions Cup for the third time and tied the South Korean team. Nitish Kumar, the current chief minister of Bihar, congratulated the Indian women’s hockey team for winning the Asian Championship trophy and announced a cash reward of 10 lakh rupees for each player of the team.
