All India Samajwadi Party (RSS) propaganda chief Sunil Ambedkar on Tuesday expressed deep concern over the atrocities against minority Hindus in Bangladesh. He asked the Indian government to take concrete measures to stop these atrocities and said talks should also be held with other countries in this regard. Sunil Ambedkar said these words at an event to condemn attacks on Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and other minority communities in Bangladesh.
Ambedkar said atrocities against minorities in Bangladesh are a matter of concern to every Hindu. He said every Hindu should be outraged by these incidents and there was a need to raise these issues globally. He urged the Bangladesh government to ensure that those responsible for these atrocities were severely punished.
India should take a tough stance
The RSS leader asked the Indian government to take a strict stand on the issue. He said the Indian government should take concrete and effective measures to stop attacks against Hindus and other minorities in Bangladesh. In addition, he also suggested that in order to solve this problem, India should talk to other countries and seek support at the international level.
Expectations for the Foreign Secretary’s visit to China
Sunil Ambedkar expressed hope that Indian Foreign Minister Misri’s recent visit to Bangladesh will make progress in resolving the issue. He said the government should use the visit to put pressure on the Bangladeshi government to ensure safety for minorities there.
