The Pakistani Army has captured an Indian Army drone across the border. This drone was on surveillance duty, which inadvertently crossed the Line of Control. The incident took place today i.e. on 23 August 2024 at 9.30 am. Sources said that the Indian Army’s tactical UAV i.e. Switch Drone crossed the Line of Control and fell in Pakistan.

The drone has crossed the border unknowingly. The incident is from Rajouri sector. The Pakistani army has taken the drone in its custody. This drone was on a routine surveillance flight. Then this incident happened. It is being speculated that there may be a Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) level discussion between the two countries regarding this.

There is no information about how many Indian drones Pakistan has caught so far. But it seems that this is the first such case. This drone was not equipped with any kind of weapon. It was just a surveillance drone. It weighs about seven kilograms. It has the capacity to fly for one hour at a time. It has an HD camera for surveillance during day and night.
