India Vs Bangladesh Kanpur Test Threat: The Indian cricket team will play a 2-match home Test series against Bangladesh this month. Its first match is scheduled to be held in Chennai from 19 September and the second match in Kanpur from 27 September. But before that, a big news is coming out about the second match.

Hindu Mahasabha had threatened the Kanpur Test, due to which there were discussions about changing the venue. But now the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) official has denied this. He said that this test match will be played in Kanpur only.

The second test match will be held in Kanpur itself

BCCI official has told this to Aaj Tak. When he was asked whether BCCI is keeping a close eye on the current situation or is it also considering another option (Plan-B)? Regarding this, the source said, ‘Yes, as far as those threats are concerned, we are monitoring the situation.’

He said, ‘We are also talking to the concerned officials regarding the matter. However, we are doing everything to hold that match there. The stadium is ready to welcome us (the team) and the spectators. This (test match) will be held in Kanpur and nowhere else. Not only Kanpur but other venues are also being monitored.’
