New Delhi [India]On January 29th (ANI): The Minister of Trade Union Piyush Goyal visited Oman from January 27th to 28th, and co -hosted the 11th session of the Indian Women’s Joint Committee (JCM).
The meeting was co -hosted by Qais Bin Mohammed Al Yousef. Business, Minister of Industry, Industrial Minister and Aman Sudan’s investment promotion.
JCM has seen effective discussions on bilateral cooperation between trade, investment, technology, food security, renewable energy and other key areas. The official release said that the minister held a bilateral meeting with Minister QAIS. During this period, he conducted a detailed review of bilateral trade and economic relations between India and Oman, and determined specific steps to further strengthen strengthening Mutual and beneficial business connection.
The two ministers also expressed their views on the bilateral India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which was at a high stage of negotiation. Both ministers agree to speed up the discussion of the early signing of CEPA, which will be a new milestone in bilateral trade relations, and may significantly expand two -way trade and investment.
In terms of the viewing of this visit, both parties signed an agreement to modify the Indian Women’s Dual Taxation Agreement (DTAA) to maintain the consistent with the relevant cross -border taxation, simplify the tax procedures, and promote greater cooperation in tax issues to greater cooperation. GOYAL also held bilateral meetings with the Minister of Finance Sultan Bin Salem Al Habsi, as well as the chairman of Ali Bin Masoud Al Sunaidy, the Public Economic Zone and Free Zone (OPAZ) (OPAZ) to deepen economic connection.
The Minister attended the Indian Women’s Joint Commercial Commission (JBC) meeting. The meeting was chaired by the Oman Industry and Commerce Association (OCCI) and participated with the support and participation of the FICCI delegation. Traditionally, JBC was held at the Indian ladies JCM’s watch, providing an excellent platform for discussions between the two commercial communities, and provided the risk of investment opportunities and incentive measures of India and Oman.
Goyal met with a group of CEOs and business leaders at the Indian Ambassador at a commercial round table at the Indian Embassy. This interaction provides the Minister with an opportunity that can directly interact with Oman’s main business leaders, understand the opportunities of India to them, and seek suggestions for bilateral cooperation.
The minister also talked about the future leader program of the Royal School of Management, emphasizing the story of India’s growth, and shared the insights about leadership and its role in shaping a better world.
Minister of Commerce visited Maskat’s Sultan Cabes Daqing Mosque, an idol of Oman’s culture and architectural heritage. He will also pray in the long history of Wetgae Temple in the old Maskat at the later night, emphasizing the deep culture between India and Oman and the relationship between people.
