India and China have reached a new agreement on patrolling the Line of Actual Control. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided this information in a statement on Monday. Talking about bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, “Diplomatic and military talks have been ongoing between India and China over the past few weeks.”
He said: “We have reached an agreement with China on the Line of Actual Control. Patrol arrangements have been made to withdraw troops and resolve the situation. On bilateral issues, we are still working in accordance with the time and commitment.
