Vaibhav Suryavanshi made his ODI debut for the India Under-19 team at the age of just 13 years and 248 days. He broke Piyush Chawla’s 21-year-old record. Piyush Chawla made his debut for the India Under-19 ODI team in 2003. His age at that time was 14 years and 311 days. Now, Bihar’s Vaibhav Suryavanshi tops the list. In the recently held IPL 2025 mega auction, he was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 110 crore. However, Vaibhav failed to do anything special in the first game. He was eliminated after scoring just one run against Pakistan.

Talking about this match between India and Pakistan, in this match Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat. Thereafter, Pakistan batted first and scored 281 runs after losing seven wickets in 50 overs, including a record-breaking innings of 159 from Shahzeb Khan. In response to this scoreline for Pakistan, Ayush Mhatt and Vibhav Suryavansh came on to start the Indian innings but were soon back in the pavilion. The Indian team scored only 237 runs in this match and eventually lost the match by 44 runs.
