India vs Bangladesh Women’s Asia Cup 2024 Semi Final Highlights: The Indian team has performed brilliantly and made it to the finals of the Women’s Asia Cup 2024. India defeated Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the first semi-final match played at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium on Friday (26 July).

Smriti hits a stormy fifty

For India, opener batsman Smriti Mandhana scored unbeaten 55 runs on 39 balls, which included 9 fours and one six. Whereas Shefali Verma remained unbeaten on 26 runs. Shefali hit 2 fours in her innings of 28 balls. By batting brilliantly, both of them did not give any chance to Bangladesh to come back in the match.

Radha-Renuka’s killer bowling

Earlier, Bangladesh team, which won the toss and came to bat first, could score only 80 runs for 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Captain Nigar Sultana scored the maximum 32 runs for Bangladesh. Apart from this, only Shorna Akhtar (19 runs not out) could reach double digits. For India, fast bowler Renuka Singh and spinner Radha Yadav took three wickets each. Whereas Pooja Vastrakar and Deepti Sharma got one success each.
