Former Australia great and former head coach Justin Langer admits that Pant still scares him. However, he is happy to have Pant playing for his team in the IPL.

Lange said this
During a Test match, Langer said Pant has caused me a lot of trouble in the last two series. I was happy that Lucknow bought him a week ago and now he is my friend. After Pant was released by Delhi Capitals, LSG acquired him for Rs 2,075 crore, making Pant the most expensive player in the IPL. Previously, Shreyas Iyer was acquired for Rs 2,675 crore.
