Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc is known for his brilliant bowling but he also worked wonders with the bat against India. In fact, India lost 9 wickets to Australia for 79 runs. Thereafter, India hoped to restrict Australia to 100 comfortably but that couldn’t happen as Mitchell Starc scored 26 runs off 112 balls. Based on this innings, Australia scored 100+ points.
Starc is the only player to do this
Stark is the only player to face more than 100 goals in the entire game. In the first innings, no batsman from India faced more than 100 balls, while in the second innings, Starc was the only player to face more than 100 balls. Starc, along with Hazlewood, took charge of the final wicket, adding a crucial 25 runs in 110 balls and reducing the team’s deficit to a great extent. Starc really enjoyed playing against India. This is the second time that Starc has faced 100+ balls against India. Earlier in 2013, he had bowled 144 against India.
