Now, the latest dog attack has occurred in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district. At a house here, a pet pit bull scratched the owner’s 26-year-old son’s face. The pit bull tore off part of the flesh from the boy’s face.
Attacked while walking
According to information provided by officials, a pit bull came to the house of Shankarlal Gangwar, principal of a college in Khalilpur, Bareilly, just six months ago. His son Aditya left home to walk his dog. However, during this time, the pit bull attacked him and severely injured him.
Scratching of facial muscles, including lips
Regarding the incident, an official said the pit bull attacked the young man, causing flesh to ooze from his lips and other parts of his face. When local residents heard Aditya’s screams, they ran to save him. The youth had undergone facial surgery by a senior surgeon at a private hospital. Meanwhile, the forest department ranger informed the municipal corporation that the team had caught the dog.
Pit bulls have a ferocious nature
It is understood that the pit bull that attacked the owner’s son has been kept at an animal breeding center to prevent it from attacking others. It is reported that the dog is now calm, but staff are afraid to approach it.
