At that time, the accused reached there and made her a victim of his lust. On getting information about this incident, her brother took her to the police station. On the basis of his complaint, the police registered a case and arrested the accused. The medical test of the victim has been done. The investigation of the case is going on.

A 27-year-old woman was gang-raped by eight people in a village just 20 kilometers away from the district headquarters. The victim was waiting for a bus to visit a local fair after celebrating Rakshabandhan festival.

Meanwhile, several drunken youths picked her up, took her to the pond and gang-raped her. It is being told that more than 8 people were involved in this incident. After gang-raping the woman for about 5 hours, the accused fled. She somehow reached her home.

The family was informed about the incident. After this, the family filed a report of this case in Pusaur police station. Seeing the seriousness of the case, the police formed different teams. They started arresting the accused. Immediately after the case was registered, 6 accused were arrested.

The SP had told that this incident happened on the evening of 19th August, when the woman was going to see the fair. At that time, the accused stopped the woman on the way and gang-raped her. The number of accused in this case was high, so the section of gangrape has been imposed.
