In Goa, a minor was raped by a neighbour, the victim was playing with the accused’s daughter

A sensational incident of rape of a minor has come to light in Goa, a famous tourist destination in the country. Based on the complaint of the victim’s father, the police have registered a case against the accused under the relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS), Goa Child Act and POCSO Act. The police have arrested the accused. The matter is being investigated.

A senior police officer said that the accused Mohammad Fayaz Alam has been arrested after the complaint of the minor girl’s father. According to the complaint, the accused committed this crime on 9 September. The victim was playing with the accused’s daughter near her house. Then he lured her and took her with him and made her a victim of his lust.

Let us tell you that in the month of April also a horrific incident of rape of an innocent girl came to light. Here an innocent girl of five years was first raped. After that the brutes killed her. In this case, the police arrested two laborers from Bihar. This sensational incident took place on Friday in Vasco city of South Goa.

Two labourers living near the construction site here committed this heinous crime with the daughter of another labourer. After the incident, the girl was found unconscious near the spot. She was taken to the government hospital, where doctors declared her dead. After this, the family informed the police. The accused were identified as Murari Kumar Painter (24) and Upnesh Kumar (22).

Superintendent of Police (South) Sunita Sawant had said that based on the complaint of the victim’s father, a case was registered against the unknown accused under the relevant sections of the IPC and the POCSO Act. During the investigation of this case, the laborers living near the construction site were questioned. After this, both the accused, who were residents of Bihar, were arrested.

The accused used to work at the construction site with the victim’s parents. Both of them came to Goa a year ago to work for the construction company, while the victim’s family came from Bihar 9 months ago. The victim’s father informed the site supervisor about the incident. He then informed the police. After this, the police detained 20 workers for questioning.

There have been more reports of crime from Goa, famous for tourism, for the last few years. In the year 2022, many big incidents of rape came to light. In June that year, a sensational case of rape of a British-origin woman came to light in Panaji. After receiving information about this incident, the police arrested a 32-year-old man on charges of rape. His name was Joel Vincent D’Souza.
