A case of alleged rape of a nine-year-old innocent girl by a youth living in the neighbourhood has come to light in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. As soon as the police got information about the incident, the girl was admitted to the hospital in a blood-soaked state.
Police said that on Saturday, information was received about a nine-year-old girl being raped by a youth living in the neighbourhood in the city area. The accused is absconding since the incident.
Police said that the girl lived with her widowed mother, but at the time of the incident, the girl was alone at home. Finding the girl alone at home, the 25-year-old accused youth entered the house and allegedly raped the innocent girl. When she raised an alarm, the accused fled from the spot leaving the girl groaning in pain.
Additional Superintendent of Police Chiranjeevi Nath Singh said that the police has admitted the girl to the hospital. Several teams have been formed to arrest the accused.
