A painful incident took place in Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh district. Here, a man locked in a neighbor’s kitchen, under the influence of alcohol, opened the regulator of a gas cylinder and ignited it. As a result, 11 people including 10 members of the same family living in the house were burned. Let us tell you that a man named Kundan Nath, a driver by profession, was locked in the kitchen of his neighbor’s house by his family. It is understood that Kundan was addicted to alcohol.

Garud sub-collector Jitendra Verma said regarding the incident that the accused Kundan was under the influence of alcohol. During this time, he got into an argument with his family when he returned home and became abusive. Thereafter, Kundan’s family caught him and imprisoned him in the kitchen on the first floor of Giri’s house. In this regard, Deputy Collector Verma said that in the evening, Kundan opened the regulator of the gas cylinder kept in the kitchen and set it on fire. Since then, the fire gradually spread to other parts of the house, and 10 members of the same family were burned due to the fire.

Apart from this, the accused Kundan also suffered burn injuries in the fire incident. Let me tell you that after this incident happened, everyone was immediately sent to the district hospital. Currently, the six victims have been recommended to be sent to higher-level medical centers for better treatment. Let us tell you that earlier an accident was witnessed during Theyyam dance at a temple near Nileshwaram Temple in Kasaragod district of Kerala. During this period, more than 150 people were injured in fire incidents. Many of the injured are said to be in serious condition.
