A large number of parents and local people gathered at the school gate to protest against the incident and are expressing their anger over the negligence of the school. Parents are unhappy with the school administration not taking any concrete stand. Expressing their anger, people came down on the railway track and started raising slogans. During this time, when the police personnel tried to disperse the crowd, the crowd started pelting stones.

Movement of trains has been affected due to demonstrations on the tracks. The police also had to use tear gas shells to disperse the people gathered on the railway track. Because there was a clash between angry people and the police. People pelted stones at the police force. This issue of molestation has started gaining momentum.

Guilty will not be spared: CM
On the Badlapur incident, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that I have taken this matter seriously. SIT has been formed to investigate this and we are also going to take action against the school where this incident took place. Whoever is found guilty in the case, no one will be spared.

Deputy Chief Minister ordered to form SIT
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered to constitute a SIT in this matter. This SIT will be led by IG rank senior IPS officer Aarti Singh. This team will investigate the Badlapur case. Along with this, Thane Police Commissioner has been asked to give a proposal to take this case to the fast track court. So that, strict action can be taken against the accused.

Also, it has been said that the case will be heard in the fast track court.

Police appealed to the people to maintain peace
DCP Sudhakar Pathare has appealed to the city residents for cooperation. He said that the accused was arrested within three and a half hours after the case was registered. The court has also sent him to police custody. DCP Pathare has appealed to the city residents to cooperate with the police in the investigation, so that the bottom of this serious matter can be reached and justice can be ensured.

The DCP has made it clear that if any city organizes a bandh or agitation, which may hamper the investigation, then strict action will be taken against it. The police will not show any laxity in this matter and are working diligently to punish the culprits.
