Three assailants shot dead a man who was sitting in a car in broad daylight in Panchkula, Haryana on Friday. In this shooting incident, the man was injured by bullets. Who has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The police are investigating the case.

The shooting took place in Bharauli village in Panchkula when the convoy of the Congress candidate for Kalka constituency was passing through the village. A person named Goldy, a resident of Kheda village in Raipur Rani, was in the car at the time.

According to the police, three unidentified persons then came there and fired three shots at Goldie. During this time, Goldie suffered injuries due to gunshot wounds. Police told PTI that Goldie was first admitted to the Panchkula Civil Hospital and later shifted to PGIMER, Chandigarh.

An officer of the Hassan police disclosed that Goldie’s condition is said to be out of danger. According to the police, Goldie is a history-sheeter and 29 cases have been registered against her in Ambala, Yamunanagar, Lalru and Mohali.

Police said they were investigating whether the attack was the result of some old rivalry. Or was it gang-related? He said four teams had been set up to track the attackers and that CCTV footage installed in the surrounding areas was being examined.
