Impersonating ER officials with intent to rob, raided businessman’s house… Mathura police busted the gang

A gang posing as fake ER officials to commit robbery has been busted in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Yesterday, the police arrested five persons involved in the gang. Among them was a woman. These arrested accused had come to raid the house of a businessman in Govind Nagar police station area last month. But when the businessman demanded documents, they all fled the spot after a fight. The entire incident was captured on CCTV installed in the house.

According to the information received, Mathura police has arrested the gang leader from Faridabad. At present, according to him, five other persons including the woman have been arrested and the case has been solved. A total of six persons have been arrested.

Mathura police officer said some people posing as ER officials reached the house of Ashwani Aggarwal, a businessman in Radha Orchid Colony, on August 30. They showed the businessman a search warrant and tried to force their way into the house. But the businessman got suspicious, protested and called the police. While others gathered, the fake ER official and his accomplices fled the spot.

In this case, Mathura SSP formed multiple teams including SWAT, SOG, Surveillance, etc. and started searching for the accused who pretended to be fake ER officials to commit robbery. The gang leader Jagdeep Singh (a resident of Kapurthala) was arrested from Faridabad on September 10. During interrogation, he revealed the names of his accomplices who have now been arrested.

It is understood that the plan to rob the businessman’s house by posing as fake ER officials had been prepared for two months. To this end, the criminals conducted a thorough investigation of the businessman’s house, shop and other places many times. After the reiki, when they felt it was right, they made a fake search warrant to search the businessman’s house. However, due to the businessman’s wisdom, his intention did not succeed.

A woman arrested in the fake ER officer gang is a resident of Sonipat. She has completed her PhD. She also worked as a professor in an engineering college. She lived with the mastermind Jagdeep Singh. The accused may be arrested after scanning hundreds of CCTV cameras in Mathura, Delhi and Haryana.
