MP Vivek Tankha said on Wednesday that signatures of more than 30 members of the Federal House of Representatives have been collected so far and the relevant notification will be issued during the winter session of Parliament. “This matter is serious, so we will issue a notice of impeachment in this parliament,” he said.
Justice Yadav made the controversial remarks during a meeting of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) at the Allahabad High Court on Sunday. After that the controversy started.

When will impeachment come?
According to the rules, impeachment of any judge requires the approval of 100 members of the House of Representatives and 50 members of the Federal Council. Even after that, notices of impeachment will still be issued.
Supreme Court subpoena report
The judge’s speech went viral on social media in a video. In addition, newspapers also prominently published news about his speech. The Supreme Court learned of the incident through newspaper reports. The Supreme Court has since sought a report from the Allahabad High Court. The court stated that the case has been accepted and further investigation is under way.
