Police Commissioner Ravinder Gaude also issued guidelines for creating safe zones for women. The guidelines clearly state that if a woman cannot get her vehicle between 10 pm and 6 am and she wants to go to the railway station, bus station or home, then she should call the police control room 112 for help.

Police will go to the scene to seek help from the woman. No matter where he was going, the fare to that place had to be paid by the woman or girl concerned. To assist women or girls, 100 cars have been selected and the drivers of these cars will be uniformed and wear appropriate name tags.

The name, address and mobile phone number of the driver of the selected car has been registered with the police. Even if any accident happens to women or girls, these car drivers will get help. The police have designated three safe zones for women in the city, namely at Kamla Nagar, Sadar Chowk and New Agra. These secure areas are fully under CCTV surveillance.
