The political temperature is high in Haryana amid preparations for the assembly elections. Recently, wrestlers Vinesh and Bajrang Punia met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, after which their entry into politics has been making headlines. Now, BJP leader Anil Vij has given a statement about Vinesh Phogat. Anil Vij said, “If Vinesh Phogat wants to become the daughter of Congress from the daughter of the country, then what objection will we have.”
Referring to the wrestlers’ protest, Anil Vij said that Congress was behind the wrestlers from day one and the movement was going on due to the instigation of Congress, otherwise it would have been decided.
‘You will understand in time…’
Earlier, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari had also given a statement about Vinesh Phogat. He said, “Vinesh will understand that Congress wants to cash in on her reputation. Does Vinesh Phogat want to impose 370, does she want to oppress Dalits. So it is a matter of some time, everyone will understand in time.

‘We will convince our people…’
Responding to a question on the internal strife in the state after the release of the list of BJP candidates for the Haryana assembly elections, Anil Vij said, “There are elections for 90 seats, we had many people contesting from one seat. The party has released the list after considering many factors. Sometimes small resentments happen, we will convince them.”
Rahul Gandhi met Vinesh and Bajrang Punia
On September 4, wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia met the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha. After the meeting, a picture of the meeting of both the wrestlers and Rahul Gandhi came out, after which the discussion in the political circles intensified that both these faces are going to join the Congress. Discussions are also going on about the assembly seats of Vinesh and Bajrang. Now it remains to be seen from which seat both the wrestlers enter the political arena.
