Now the father of the deceased said that if we take money in exchange for her life, she will be very sad. If I get justice, I will definitely get it. Apart from this, the father of the deceased said on Thursday evening that CBI officials came today and took all the evidence including our statement.

He further said, “We are 100 percent in favor of the protests and movements taking place in the entire country as well as abroad regarding this incident. We love all the protesters, we consider them all as our sons and daughters.”

The father of the deceased student further said that no attempt has been made to falsify the evidence behind the attack on the hospital at night. This is a matter of administration, the administration will understand it. It is not appropriate for me to comment on this. This is a judicial matter. CBI has assured that if caught, the accused will be given strict punishment. This will be done as soon as possible.

There was massive vandalism inside the hospital

After the disturbance inside the hospital, the pictures that have surfaced inside the hospital tell the whole story of the incident that happened at midnight. Some unknown people, who were among the people protesting outside the hospital late at night, suddenly entered inside and started creating ruckus. Angry protesters went on destroying the hospital’s doors, windows, beds, medical equipment, whatever came in sight. The part of the hospital where the incident with the lady doctor was carried out was also vandalized. Unidentified protesters also beat up the doctors of the hospital.

‘The furious crowd could not be controlled…’

Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal said, ‘The number of policemen deployed at the hospital was less, due to which the angry crowd could not be controlled. The police resorted to lathicharge and released tear gas shells to control the crowd. The police worked with full force in the rape and murder case of a female doctor, but due to continuous rumors being spread, the situation went out of control.
