“If we come to power, we will end prohibition in Bihar within an hour”, Prashant Kishore’s important statement

Prashant Kishore, an election strategist who is trying to make a foray into Bihar politics, has made a major announcement. He said he will end the liquor ban in Bihar within an hour if his new party comes to power. Speaking to the media, Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishore said that the party “will end the liquor ban within an hour of forming the government”.

Prashant Kishore said the ban decision was an act of deception by Nitish Kumar. Kishore criticised the current ban and claimed that it has been proven ineffective. He said that due to the ban, illegal home distribution of liquor has increased and caused the state to lose potential excise revenue of Rs 20,000 crore. He also accused politicians and bureaucrats of profiting from the illegal liquor trade. Kishore also said that he believed in “politics of competence” and would not hesitate to speak out on the ban.

Announced to field 40 Muslim candidates

Recently, Prashant Kishore announced on stage that his party will provide tickets to at least 40 Muslim candidates in the Bihar assembly elections to be held next year.
