The encounter case of Mangesh Yadav, accused in the Sultanpur robbery case, has gained momentum. Big leaders like SP chief Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi have raised questions on this encounter. Meanwhile, Mangesh Yadav’s family members have also called the encounter fake. The family members say that the police picked up Mangesh from his house late on Monday night (September 2). When asked, they said that they were taking him for interrogation and would release him in a day or two. But after this, he was killed in a fake encounter on September 5.

What did Mangesh’s sister say?

Princy, the younger sister of Mangesh Yadav, a resident of Agaraura village of Baksa police station area of Jaunpur, says that her brother had gone to her school to deposit her fees on the day of the incident, i.e. 28 August. Since he did not take the fee card with him, the fees could not be deposited that day. But her brother was with her from 9 am to 2 pm. In such a situation, how could he carry out the incident? If brother was a robber, we would not have lived in this dilapidated house. There is not even a bike in the house. He had gone to drop her to school on a neighbor’s bike.

Princy claimed that the UP STF and police team picked up Mangesh from his house at around 2 am on the night of September 2. After this, his brother Mangesh was killed on the morning of September 5. Early in the morning, a call came that his body was lying in the post-mortem house of Sultanpur.

According to Princy- On Monday night at around 2:00, policemen in plain clothes took Mangesh from his house for questioning. The house was searched. His brother was slapped twice. The family members were also threatened. After this, the news of the encounter came on Thursday morning.

Statement of Mangesh Yadav’s father

Rakesh Yadav, father of Mangesh who was killed in the encounter, works as a truck driver in Gujarat. Rakesh says that his son had returned from Gujarat in July after about 7 months. If he was such a big robber, we would not have had such a house. Who sleeps in his own house at night after loot/robbery? When the police took him away safely from his home, how did this encounter happen? Every day a new story is being made. Now we have faith only in the CBI investigation.

According to the information, a reward of Rs 50,000 was declared on 2 September on Mangesh Yadav, the accused of Sultanpur case. Then on 4 September, a reward of Rs 1 lakh each was declared on a total of 10 criminals including Mangesh. On Thursday morning, the STF team killed Mangesh in an encounter. A total of seven cases were registered against him. These cases were cases of theft, robbery and dacoity.

Let us tell you that in the case of robbery of crores of rupees from a bullion trader’s shop in broad daylight in Sultanpur, STF killed Mangesh Yadav in an encounter on Thursday (5 August) morning. SP chief raised questions on this encounter. Akhilesh Yadav wrote on ‘X’- It seems that the ruling party had deep contact with the people involved in the Sultanpur robbery, that is why before the fake encounter, the ‘main accused’ was contacted and made to surrender and other people from the party were shot only on their feet and killed on the basis of their ‘caste’.
