I have 10 years of experience in presenting the budget. Therefore, while presenting the budget, I keep rural and urban in mind. Therefore, I have to help those whose annual income is below Rs 2.5 lakh. That’s why we came up with the Ladli Behan Scheme.
Is Ladli Behan Yojana an election announcement? In response to this question, Ajit Pawar said that while working in the country, any government always keeps in mind which scheme it brings to support the people. Like EGS (Employment guarantee scheme) was earlier in Maharashtra. After this the Central Government took up that scheme. Which is now called MNREGA. First we brought Sant Gadge Baba Village Cleanliness Campaign. At that time RR Patil and all of us were working together, then this plan was brought. After that came the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Sant Gadge Baba’s village cleanliness campaign became quite popular. Some villages have become so good that you don’t even ask. People had participation in it. It was in my mind for a long time that people should be forgiven regarding electricity. It was also used once, but it was withdrawn after 6 months. After this we again came up with this scheme.
He said that today I have left for Jan Samman Yatra. I have told people that I can continue the schemes that I have started for farmers, for youth and for sisters. I have spent many years in the finance department, so I know how to create resources.
CM Shinde is saying that he has brought the Chief Minister Ladki Behan Scheme and you are saying that you have brought the scheme?
