If divided, we will be divided… Who wrote the script for this slogan and why does everyone from Yogi to Sangh emphasize it?

Why does everyone from yogis to sanghas emphasize this?

If you divide, you divide… Following Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, RSS leader Datatreya Hosabale also emphasized this. The host said that if we differentiate between pre- and post-caste and language, we will be cut off. History is the same and hence it is necessary for Hindus to unite.

Following this statement by Hosabale, it is believed that the uproar over Batenge vs. Katenge slogans may get louder in the coming days.

PDA ruins the game in Hindi Patti

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the PDA (Backward, Dalit and Minority) slogans in the Hindi belt ruined the game of the BJP. The BJP suffered huge losses in states like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and others.

In Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, the BJP has fewer Lok Sabha seats than the Union. Suffering setbacks in these states, the party failed to form a full majority government on its own for the third time. The BJP could win only 240 seats, far fewer than in 2014 and 2019.

When looking back at the defeat of the BJP-RSS, caste mobilization is cited as a major reason. According to CSDS, Muslims, non-Jatav Dalits, Yadavs and non-Yadav OBCs in Uttar Pradesh voted against the BJP in large numbers.

Similarly, caste mobilization is also seen in many seats in Bihar. In Jharkhand, the BJP suffered a crushing defeat in the five seats reserved for tribals. The BJP fared worst in Maharashtra. His allies also failed to win more seats.

Demand for caste census and shares dominates

Even after the Lok Sabha, the demand for caste census and caste ratio continues to dominate in the Hindi belt states. Political parties here have long been demanding that the Center conduct a caste census. In UP, Akhilesh Yadav is busy perfecting his PDA strategy.

For this purpose, Akhilesh decided to organize PDA Panchayat in villages. The Congress, on the other hand, is organizing a constituent assembly to woo Dalit voters. Recently, Rahul Gandhi participated in the Constituent Assembly held in Ranchi.

If you object to PDA, you’ll be cut off.

In order to weaken the PDA formula in the Hindi belt, the BJP handed over the formula to Katenge. SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav said the formula was prepared in a special laboratory. The task of implementing the formula has been given to the CM of UP.

In fact, Yogi Adityanath gave the Batenge slogan to Katenge for the first time. The slogan has made headlines ever since. Sarkaryavah Datatreya Hosabale of the Sangh has now also commented on this. Hosabale said there is nothing wrong with calling everyone to come together.

The Sangh and the BJP are said to be trying to unite Hindus through this slogan so that they can easily stop the caste craze. If the national craze in the Hindi belt is not checked, the road ahead for the party will not be smooth.

How did the Batenger to Katenger formula come about?

The Batenge slogan was first raised by Yogi Adityanath to Katenge at a rally in Agra on August 26, 2024. Yogi said that now in Bangladesh you see how people are being killed. Here, if you divide, you will divide. This slogan of Yogi Adityanath is not just a coincidence.

According to sources, the script for this slogan was started in June 2024. In the first week of August, 23 RSS ideologues held a high-level meeting in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Some leaders of the BJP are also involved.

The meeting discussed ways to stamp out caste-based uprisings in Hindi-speaking areas. In the Sangh, thinkers are those officials who oversee the work related to the magazine or writing.

Twenty days after this meeting, Yogi used the Batenge slogan to Katenge for the first time.
