ICC deals heavy blow to Pakistan, Champions trophy won’t go to PoK

The atmosphere for the 2025 Champions Trophy has become very intense. India categorically refused to participate in the tour of Pakistan. The BCCI has informed the ICC that it will not travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy match at any cost. Since then, Pakistan has been asking the ICC to explain the reasons behind it. And the BCCI has cited safety reasons. Meanwhile, Pakistan organized a Champions Trophy tour. There were rumors of three cities heading to PoK, but now that the ICC has clearly rejected them, the Champions Trophy will not go to any controversial location.

BCCI objects

The Pakistan Cricket Board announced on the evening of November 14th that the championship trophy will arrive in Islamabad on November 14th. Thereafter, the trophy will be held across Pakistan from November 16 to 24. PCB has posted information about the matter on its social media. He said the trophy will travel to places like Skardu, Murree, Hunza and Muzaffarabad. Of these four places, only Mali is part of Pakistan. In addition, three other places, Skardu, Hunza and Muzaffarabad, also fell into the hands of Pakistan-controlled militants.

Immediately after Pakistan announced the news, the BCCI raised objections and the International Cricket Federation immediately took action against it and banned the Pakistan Cricket Board from taking the trophy to any controversial place. This move by the Pakistan Cricket Board further angered fans of the Indian team, including India, but the BCCI promptly informed the ICC about the matter and prevented Pakistan from doing so.
