Satish Mahana, Speaker of Uttar Pradesh.
The atmosphere in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly turned violent when opposition MLAs started creating a ruckus. Speaker Satish Mahana was furious. First, the Speaker stopped opposition MPs from raising unparliamentary slogans, but when they disagreed, he ordered Samajwadi Party MPs to leave the House. Speaker Satish Mahana directed the opposition to maintain decorum. The House briefly adjourned as the unrest intensified.
In fact, many opposition MLAs have raised many questions about UP’s health system. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak was hesitant about this. He questioned the opposition’s issue and said the SP people signed it without even seeing the issue. After Brajesh Pathak made his statement, Samajwadi Party and Congress MPs came to the well and started shouting slogans. During this period, objectionable slogans were raised against Deputy Minister Brajesh Pathak.
Suresh Khanna gets angry over objectionable slogans
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna was angry at the objectionable slogans of the opposition and told Speaker Satish Mahana that it was wrong. Thereafter, Speaker Satish Mahana stopped the opposition MPs from raising unparliamentary slogans, but they did not agree to it. Reacting to this, Speaker Satish Mahana told SP MLA Atul Pradhan that you have spoiled the atmosphere the most. The Speaker then ordered the marshal to send SP MLA Atul Pradhan.
Pick up Atul Pradhan and throw him out
A dispute ensued between SP MLA Atul Pradhan and Speaker Satish Mahana. Speaker Satish Mahana was outraged and said, what are you talking about? I will terminate your membership based on the privileges. You go out. Speaker Mahana then asked the marshal to pick up Atul Pradhan and throw him out. Following this, the Speaker ordered Atul Pradhan to be expelled from the entire session. Thereafter the House adjourned for some time.
