‘I was allowed to speak only for 5 minutes, the other CM spoke for 20 minutes’, Mamata Banerjee got angry and came out of the NITI Aayog meeting.

The 9th meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog is going on under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mamta Banerjee, who had come to attend the meeting, left the meeting midway making serious allegations. Mamta Banerjee has alleged that she was not given a chance to speak and she was stopped within five minutes.

After leaving the meeting being held at the Cultural Center of Rashtrapati Bhavan, Mamata Banerjee said, ‘I was allowed to speak only for 5 minutes while others before me spoke for 20 minutes, I registered my protest and I came out. She came.’

Mamata Banerjee said, ‘I said bring back the Planning Commission, I said give funds to Bengal and don’t discriminate. I said that when we run the central government, we should think about all the states. I was telling about the Central Fund that it is not being given to West Bengal, then he muted my mic. I was the only Chief Minister from the opposition state, they should have allowed me to speak. This is an insult to me.
