Mumbai, December 15: Mumbai-based supermodel Alicia Kaur, known for her Australian roots and popularity in the Indian fashion industry, recently opened up about her journey to self-acceptance. In a candid interview, Alicia revealed her decision to have breast augmentation surgery last year and described how it helped her feel more in line with her own idea of femininity.
“I felt uncomfortable with my body. Every day I looked in the mirror and I felt less feminine and more masculine. After the surgery, I suddenly felt like a woman. It’s hard to explain my feelings about How happy it turned out,” she shared.
Alicia, who has participated in major fashion events such as Lakme Fashion Week, explains that her choices were driven by personal insecurities rooted in her athletic background .
Smart decisions and natural consequences
The supermodel emphasized the importance of thoughtful decision-making and revealed that she consulted with multiple doctors over the years before making her decision. “Setting boundaries is crucial. I appreciate full-figured women, but I wanted a natural look. I think the results look very real,” Alicia adds.
Solve sports injuries
In addition to her breast augmentation, Alicia also underwent minor plastic surgery to correct facial imbalances caused by a past sports injury. “I had a bit of Botox injected to repair sunken eyes and a slightly crooked nose, as well as damage from four fractures during my athletic career. My doctor advised against any further changes and I haven’t had any lip work done. Fillers – these are all natural,” she said.
While she may consider surgery in the future to address breathing issues caused by the nose injury, Alicia noted that it’s not an emergency.

Alicia has been open about her experience on social media in an effort to educate her followers about plastic surgery and promote body positivity. “I’ve always been honest about my journey. Young models often ask me how they maintain their lifestyle or make certain decisions. I want to guide them and help them feel confident in their choices,” she said.
