Information revealed that a 19-year-old girl resident of Ladheri police station area became friends with a boy named Arvind Batham on Instagram a year ago. The two chatted for a while and made an appointment to meet at the train station. When the girl arrived at the train station, the young man’s face did not match the photo on his Instagram profile.
Falling in love after seeing photos on Instagram
The girl decided to break off the friendship and stop talking to the boy. But the boy kept trying to talk to her. When the girl stopped answering his calls, the angry boy began threatening to defame the girl. The girl claimed that the boy threatened that he would not leave her if she married someone else. Subsequently, the girl reported the incident to the local police station.

Regarding the matter, ASP Niranjan Sharma said that a girl has lodged a complaint with the police station. In it she said she became friends with a boy on Instagram. The two shared personal photos with each other. Then the two made an appointment to meet and met at Gwalior Railway Station. But the boy in the photo was completely different from the boy in front of him. I became friends with this boy after seeing the photo. After that, when I stopped talking to him, he started threatening to make my photos and videos go viral. A case has been registered based on the victim’s complaint and investigation has begun.
