President Joe Biden on Tuesday lashed out at former president Trump over the latter’s ‘black jobs‘ comments. Speaking at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) convention in Las Vegas, Biden responded to the comments by saying that the ‘black job’ is the Vice President of the United States, referring to Kamala Harris, who is the US‘s first-ever VP of color.

The ‘Black Job’ comment was made by the Republican presidential nominee during the first debate on CNN on June 27. He claimed that migrants crossing the borders are taking up “black jobs” in the US. It is not exactly clear what the former president was referring to. However, for people familiar with the 78-year-old alleged racist rhetoric, it was clear that he meant low-paid, blue-collar physically demanding service.

“Folks, I know what a Black job is. It’s a vice president of the United States,” Biden said responding to Trump’s comments “I know what a Black job is. The first Black president … Barack Obama.”
