How was the plan to make Ramayan’s Ram made after seeing Rannvijay of ‘Animal’? Mukesh Chhabra told the reason

Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayan film is in the news. The actor will be seen playing the role of Lord Shri Ram in the film. The shooting of the film has started and pictures of his look were also leaked, where he looked good in the role of Shri Ram. Fans were very impressed to see the ‘Animal’ fame actor in such a calm character. The credit for this goes to casting director Mukesh Chhabra. He told why Ranbir was cast in the role of Shri Ram.

Ranbir’s name was decided

Ranbir Kapoor, who was recently seen playing the violent character Ranvijay in the film Animal, was not expected by anyone to play the role of Shri Ram. Then how did Mukesh Chhabra get this idea? He himself answered this. While talking on The Ranveer Show, Mukesh told that he had thought about this a long time ago. He knew that Ranbir will play it perfectly. Mukesh said – There is peace on his face, that was what was needed. Nitesh Tiwari had decided long ago that he has to be cast. This is a very right decision. You will know about it after the film is released.

Shooting is happening under strict supervision

For Ramayan, the makers strategically decided to cover the set from all sides and shoot indoors to avoid any leaks. This planning was done by producer Namit Malhotra. The makers did not want any glimpse of the film to come out before the official announcement. A no phone policy was also imposed on the set. Still, despite their best efforts, the shutterbugs managed to click photos of Ranbir and Sai’s looks from the film. We put up curtains all around, and now the surveillance has been tightened to avoid further leaks. The source had revealed that the working title of Ramayan on the set is ‘God Power’.

Mukesh also said that no one can beat Ranbir in terms of acting. No actor was ready to play the role of Laxman in front of him. He is not bothered much by hits and flops. He believes in doing his work.
