SSC GD Police Constable Recruitment 2024: Over 39,000 posts of SSC GD constables will be restored. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) started accepting online applications from September 5, which will continue till October 14. The last date to deposit the application fee is October 15, 2024. Thereafter, the revision window will remain open between November 5 and 7. The computer-based online test (CBT) can be held in January-February 2025.

This recruitment drive will fill a total of 39481 SSC GD Constable posts. BSF: 15654 posts, CISF: 7145 posts, CRPF: 11541 posts, SSB: 819 posts, ITBP: 3017 posts, AR: 1248 posts, SSF: 35 posts, NCB: 22 posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official website of SSC ssc.gov.in.

Who can apply?

Candidates who have passed class 10 or equivalent exam from any recognized board can apply. If we talk about age limit, then the age of eligible applicants should be minimum 18 years and maximum 23 years as on January 1, 2025. SSC GD Police Exam Pattern: Know the Question Paper Contents
The written examination for SSC GD Police recruitment will be a Computer Based Examination (CBE). The duration of the paper is one hour and 80 objective type questions will be asked. Each question carries 2 marks i.e. the entire paper carries 160 marks. The Computer Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted by the board in 13 regional languages ​​besides English and Hindi.

What to do after the written test?

Candidates who qualify for the written examination will be required to undergo Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Fitness Test (PET), Medical Examination and Document Verification. Their schedule will be released on the official website in due course after the examination.

Police Salary
The candidates selected for the post of GD Constable in SSC will get a salary ranging from Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900 under pay scale 1, while in NCB, the post of Constable will get a salary ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 under pay scale 3.
