After which the divers jumped into the water to save Aditya Vardhan. But by then it was too late. Aditya had drowned in the water. Aditya and his friends had reached Kanpur from Indiranagar, Lucknow.

It is being told that while bathing in the Ganges, Aditya Vardhan asked Pradeep to take a photo. Aditya and Yogesh were in the water. Aditya asked Pradeep to bring his phone from the car. Because, that phone is good and it will take good photos. Pradeep went to get Aditya’s phone. Meanwhile, Aditya went into deep water and started drowning.

Seeing him drowning, Pradeep and Yogesh pleaded for help from the divers standing on the banks of the ghat. It is alleged that the divers first asked for ₹10000 from them, when Pradeep said that he did not have cash, the divers asked him to make the payment online. The divers did not have their own online account, so they transferred ₹10000 to the account of Shailesh Kashyap, a shopkeeper present on the ghat. Only after seeing the screenshot of the money, both the divers Sunil and Rakesh jumped into the Ganga to save Aditya Vardhan. But by then Aditya had drowned.
