Honor 200 Lite 5G key features revealed ahead of India launch

Honor 200 Lite 5G will launch in India on September 19. The phone was also unveiled in select global markets in June this year. Ahead of its launch in India, the company has already revealed the design, color options, and key features of the smartphone. Honor has now also confirmed the display, RAM, and storage details of the Honor 200 Lite 5G India variant. Notably, the Honor 200 5G and Honor 200 Pro 5G were launched in India in July.

Honor 200 Lite 5G features

The Honor 200 Lite 5G will be available in India via Amazon, Explore Honor website, and major offline stores. The Amazon microsite for the Indian version of the Honor 200 Lite 5G has gone live, revealing its display, RAM, and storage details.

The Honor 200 Lite 5G will be equipped with a Full HD+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and a high brightness mode of 1,200 nits. The panel will have a screen-to-body ratio of 93.7%, a PWM dimming rate of 3,240Hz, and support for TÜV Rheinland flicker-free. The screen will also support e-books and dark mode.

The Amazon microsite further confirms that the Honor 200 Lite 5G will be launched in India with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. The RAM can be expanded up to an additional 8GB.

Earlier, the company confirmed that the Honor 200 Lite 5G will be available in three colors: Lake Cyan, Midnight Black, and Starry Blue. The phone will be equipped with a 108-megapixel main rear sensor with an aperture of f/1.75, as well as a depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 and a macro shooter with an aperture of f/2.4. The phone will also be equipped with a 50-megapixel wide-angle front camera sensor.

Honor 200 Lite 5G will offer SGS five-star drop-proof certification and run MagicOS 8 based on Android 14. The phone is 6.78mm thick and weighs 166 grams.

The Honor 200 Lite 5G is priced at £279.99 (roughly Rs. 29,900) in the UK for the 8GB + 256GB version. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 35W wired super charging. The phone has a 6.7-inch screen, a side fingerprint sensor, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.
