Home Ministry created five new districts in the Union Territory of Ladakh

The Home Ministry has created five new districts Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra and Changthang in the Union Territory of Ladakh. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has given information about this by sharing a post on his official social media handle X.

Giving information about the creation of five new districts in Ladakh, the Home Minister wrote on Twitter, “In line with the vision of PM Narendra Modi to create a developed and prosperous Ladakh, the Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to create five new districts in the Union Territory. The new districts will be Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra and Changthang.”

He also said that by strengthening governance in every corner of the country, more people will benefit at the grassroots level. The Modi government is committed to creating opportunities for the people of Ladakh.
