India’s D Gukesh created history on Thursday by winning the 2024 FIDE World Championship. At this point, Gukesh D became the youngest world chess champion. Prime Minister Modi congratulated D Gukesh for winning the world title through a post on his X account. “Congratulations to Gukesh D on his extraordinary achievement,” he wrote. “It is the result of his unique talent, hard work and unwavering determination.” Gukesh achieved this feat when he was just 10 years old. At this point, he became the youngest world chess champion.
