The Hindu side has alerted the Allahabad High Court over the Advocacy Committee’s probe into the Sambal Shahi Jama Masjid. In this warning, Harishankar Jain and Parth Yadav requested that if a petition is filed from the Muslim side, no order should be passed in the matter without hearing the Hindu side .
The warning was raised in proceedings related to an inquiry order issued by the Sambhal civil judge on November 19. The debate between Hindu and Muslim political parties over the report is deepening. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court today also directed the Muslim side to file a case in the Allahabad High Court. It is believed that a petition from the Muslim side against the civil judge’s ruling will be filed in the Allahabad High Court soon.
Proceedings can be brought to the High Court Muslim side
As per the directions of the Supreme Court today, the Muslim side can file a petition in the Allahabad High Court on Monday. It is believed that after filing the petition, the court will also give the Hindu side raising the caveat an opportunity to present its arguments. A hearing on the case is likely to be held next week.
The Hindu has alerted the High Court over a possible petition for an inquiry order. The warning was raised with the Supreme Court even before today’s hearing. Regarding the inquiry order issued by the Sambhal Court, the Hindu side expressed fear that the Muslim side would approach the High Court for help. Now that the matter has become both religiously and legally sensitive, all eyes are on the next hearing.
Investigation process suspended
However, the Muslim side approached the Supreme Court before filing a petition in the High Court. During today’s hearing, the Supreme Court temporarily put the investigation process on hold and directed the Muslim side to approach the High Court. Now that a petition has been filed in the High Court, the matter is expected to heat up again. The court will make the next decision after hearing the opinions of all parties.
