Hindu priest brutally killed, temple looted in Bangladesh; ISKCON condemns incident

Kolkata: The atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh have not stopped. According to reports, not only was the priest brutally murdered in a temple located at the central crematorium in Kashpur, Bangladesh, but the temple was also looted. The Kolkata chapter of ISKCON on Saturday condemned the “murder” of a Hindu priest by extremists at a crematorium temple in Nuttall, Bangladesh. “Bangladesh’s crematoriums are not safe either”

In response to the crematorium incident, ISKCON accused the interim government of Bangladesh of failing to protect religious minorities. ISKCON Kolkata spokesperson Radharaman Das posted a video on “X” and said: “I was shocked to hear that the temple at the central crematorium in Natalkashpur, Bangladesh was attacked.” Valuables were looted , temple servant Tarun Chandra Das was brutally murdered. His hands and legs were found tied. Even Hindu crematoriums are not safe.

‘Priest tortured before killed’

Let us tell you that the body of Pastor Tarun Chandra Das was seen in a video that went viral. In the video, the priest’s hands and legs are tied, although news agency ‘PTI-Bhasha’ could not independently confirm the authenticity of the video. According to Radharaman Das, the priest may have been tortured before being killed as his hands and legs were tied. A spokesman for Kolkata ISKCON said: “The gangsters also looted the temple.” Radharaman Das said that the Bangladesh police had classified the incident as a robbery. However, it was found that in many cases the police openly supported the militants.
