Vote in Maharashtra
Polling has ended in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. The turnout in 288 seats in Maharashtra was 65.11% on Wednesday. Kolhapur received the highest vote share (76.25%), while Mumbai city received the least vote share (52.07%). Meanwhile, in Jharkhand, the turnout for 38 seats in the second phase was 68.45%. The highest turnout was in Jamtala (77.29%) and the lowest in Bokaro (63.22%).
Turnout in both states was higher than in 2019. In fact, polling in Maharashtra will be held in a single phase, while polling for 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand will be held in two phases. The first phase of voting will be held here on November 13. The 43 seats in the first phase received more than 66% of the votes. The voter turnout in Maharashtra in 2019 was 61.44%.
What do the exit polls say?
Most exit polls predicted that Maharashtra could form the NDA, the Mahayutth government. Meanwhile, exit polls estimated that a Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government is likely to be formed in Maharashtra. In the three exit polls – Matriz, Republic P-Mark, Peoples Plus, Mahayud’s government appears to be forming in Maharashtra. Mega Lokpal exit polls estimate that Maha Vikas Aghadi is likely to form the government in the state. Meanwhile, if we talk about Jharkhand, the Indian Union seems to be facing a setback here too.
In most exit polls, the NDA is likely to win. There is a battle between India and the NDA in the polls. The Indian Alliance is expected to get a majority in Jharkhand, according to Axis My India exit polls. The Indian League is likely to get 53 seats. In the meantime, the NDA may have to settle for just 25 seats. Three seats can be given to others.

Voting for 15 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Kerala and Uttarakhand was between 50 and 70 per cent on Wednesday.
