New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC), which takes care of the cleanliness and beauty of Connaught Place, which is called the heart of Delhi, is now strict against those who spread garbage. If any event is organized in the area without the approval of NDMC and plastic waste is generated, then a fine of up to Rs 10,000 can be imposed on the organizer. Companies producing plastic will be fined Rs 20,000.

This new rule has been approved in the NDMC board meeting. NDMC President Naresh Kumar, Vice President Satish Upadhyay, Member Kuljeet Singh Chahal and other members were present in the meeting. This means that now you may have to pay a fine for organizing Bhandara, Langar or Chhabeel without permission in NDMC area.

NDMC made new plastic waste rule

According to NDMC Vice President Satish Upadhyay and member Kuljeet Singh Chahal, many proposals were presented in the board meeting, which also included the plastic waste rule. On the lines of MCD, NDMC has also made plastic waste rule.
According to the new rules of NDMC, if plastic manufacturing companies violate the rules, there is a provision to impose a fine of up to Rs 20,000. A provision has been made for a fine of up to Rs 10,000 for organizing a program without permission or organizing a program of more than 20 people at one place without permission.

Agreement signed with CRRI for road maintenance

A fine of Rs 5,000 can be imposed for burning plastic waste. A fine of Rs 2,000 can be imposed on those who spread plastic waste. There is also a proposal to take suggestions from CRRI (Central Road Research Institute) for maintaining the maintenance and quality of all the roads in the NDMC area. In this, what should be the thickness of the roads and where are the problems, a survey of this will be done by the experts of CRRI. The quality of roads will be improved after the survey. Apart from this, the proposal for the process of buying and selling of medicines has also been approved.
