The fury of ‘Tumbaad’
‘Tumbbad’, directed by Rahi Anil Barve, was released in theatres on 12 October 2018. Originally it was released on only 575 screens in India. But ‘Tumbbad’, made on a budget of just Rs 5 crore, collected more than Rs 13 crore. No special marketing was done for this film made on a very low budget and without any big star face. And this was the reason why very few people watched this film in theatres.
But as soon as it came on OTT, this film became so popular that it became a classic film. Film fans call ‘Tumbbad’ one of the best films made in India.
