BJP released a list of 67 candidates on Wednesday for the election of 90 assembly seats of Haryana. But since the release of this list, BJP has also had to face the displeasure of its leaders. Many leaders have resigned from the party. Some have announced to contest the election as independents. Many leaders including Energy and Jail Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala and MLA Laxman Das Napa have expressed their displeasure over ticket denial and announced to leave the party. Laxman Napa: Ratia MLA has resigned from BJP due to not getting ticket. Former Sirsa MP Sunita Duggal has been fielded from Ratia.

Karan Dev Kamboj: Haryana BJP OBC Morcha state president and former minister resigned from all party posts after not getting ticket for Indri assembly seat.

Vikas aka Balle:DaDistrict President of Dari Kisan Morcha resigned from BJP.

Amit Jain: BJP youth state executive member and in-charge of Sonipat assembly elections resigned.

Shamsher Gill: BJP leader sends resignation for Uklana seat, while party chooses former minister Anoop Dhanak for the seat.

Sukhwinder Mandi: Haryana BJP Kisan Morcha state president resigned from the party.

Darshan Giri Maharaj: BJP leader from Hisar also resigned.

Seema Gabipur: Senior BJP leader resigned from all party posts.

Aditya Chautala: Resigned from the post of chairman of HSAM board. Chautala contested the 2014 elections on a BJP ticket.

Ashu Shera: District president of BJP’s women wing in Panipat resigned. She expressed her displeasure over ticket being denied.

Savita Jindal: Resigned from BJP and announced to contest election as an independent candidate from Hisar.

Tarun Jain: Expressed desire to contest elections as an independent candidate from Hisar.

Naveen Goyal: Resigned from BJP in Gurgaon.

Dr. Satish Khola: Had demanded a ticket from Rewari. Resigned from the party.

Indu Valecha: Indu Valecha, wife of BJP district vice-president and former counsellor Sanjeev Valecha, also left the party, her husband also left BJP.

Bachan Singh Arya: Former minister left BJP.

Ranjit Chautala: Resigned from the post of minister and decided to contest the elections as an independent candidate.

Bishamber Valmiki: The former minister resigned from BJP.

Pandit GL Sharma: After resigning from BJP, he went to Dushyant Chautala’s residence. State vice-president has resigned – likely to join Congress on September 8.

Prashant Sunny Yadav: He joined BJP before the Lok Sabha elections. He had demanded a ticket from Rewari, but resigned after not getting the ticket. He is likely to contest the elections as an independent candidate.

What did Ranjit Chautala say

Power and Jail Minister Ranjit Chautala (79) is the son of former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal. After his ticket was cut, he said that after meeting his supporters, he has decided that he will now contest the elections as an independent candidate. Meanwhile, Napa left the party after not getting the ticket, while former minister Karan Dev Kamboj also resigned from the post of state BJP’s OBC Morcha president after being ignored for the ticket.

Let us tell you that BJP had released the first list of candidates for Haryana assembly elections on Wednesday. 67 names were announced in it. State Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has been made a candidate from Ladwa, while Anil Vij has been made a candidate from Ambala seat. Arvind Sharma has got a ticket from Guhana seat. Voting is to be held in a single phase in the state on October 5 and the results will come on October 8.
