Haryana government gave Diwali gifts to employees. The government has increased living allowances for employees and retirees. Dearness allowance has been increased from 50% to 53%. The increase will take effect from July 1, 2024. In this regard, Anurag Rastogi, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Ministry, has issued an order.
The Haryana government gave gifts to employees and pensioners on the occasion of Diwali. The state government announced an increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) by 3%. Now, employees will receive 53% salary subsidy instead of 50%. The increase will take effect from July 1, 2024.

The Chhattisgarh government also gave Diwali gifts to its employees.
Recently, the Chhattisgarh government also increased the stipend for state employees as a Diwali gift. CM Vishnu Dev Sai announced a 4% increase in the living allowance of employees. In this way, the DA of Chhattisgarh government employees has been increased to 50%.
CM Sai said that in Raipur, government employees currently get 46% DA. Our government decided to increase their development agenda by 4%. Now employees will get 50% DA. The Chhattisgarh CM’s office also posted on the matter on social media platform X.
