Haryana: Former CM Bhupendra Hooda’s wife is richer than him, know how much property she has

Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda is contesting from Garhi Sampla Kiloi assembly constituency. He filed his nomination papers on September 11. Hooda has about 2 kg gold and 25 kg silver. He also has a licensed gun, a revolver and a pistol. According to the affidavit filed by Hooda on Wednesday, he has 1,850 grams of gold and 25 kg of silver, while his wife Asha Hooda has 3,300 grams of gold and 10 kg of silver.

However, Bhupendra Singh Hooda is richer than BJP Chief Ministers Manohar Lal Khattar and Nayab Singh Saini. Bhupendra Hooda’s immovable property is worth around Rs 3.46 crore, while Asha Hooda’s movable property is worth around Rs 3.74 crore. Bhupendra Singh Hooda has immovable property worth Rs 7.29 crore, while his wife has immovable property worth Rs 11.99 crore.

Bhupendra Singh Hooda has Rs 4.52 lakh in cash, while his wife has Rs 3.70 lakh in cash. The former Chief Minister has 16.305 acres of land, while his wife Asha Hooda has 4.84 acres of agricultural land. Bhupendra Hooda has two shops of 438 square meters, while his wife also has a shop of 360 square meters.

Bhupendra Hooda also has 7253 square meters of residential land, while his wife has 11,386.29 square meters of residential land. The annual income of the Hooda couple has also doubled between 2019 and 2024. Bhupendra Hooda’s annual income was Rs 37,8,350 in 2019, which increased to Rs 60,05,332 in 2023. At the same time, his wife’s income also increased from Rs 3369935 in 2019-20 to Rs 355 3491 in 2023-24.

Bhupinder Singh Hooda has eight criminal cases pending against him between 2015 and 2019, of which four are under investigation and four cases are pending in the courts. Interestingly, neither Bhupinder Singh Hooda nor his wife owns any vehicle.

According to Aarti Rao’s affidavit, she has paid tax of Rs 2223600 lakh during 2023. Aarti Rao is a player who participated in the Shooting World Cup Final held in 2012 and has 4 Asian Championship medals to her name. She said goodbye to her shooting career in 2017.

Aarti Rao’s father Rao Indrajit Singh is a senior BJP leader and Union minister who has won six Lok Sabha and four assembly elections.

Wrestler-turned-politician Vinesh Phogat has assets worth Rs 2 crore. Her total liabilities are Rs 13,61,782 lakh, which she raised to take a car loan for Toyota Innova from Canara Bank. Her husband also took a loan from HDFC Bank to buy Mahindra Scorpio for Rs 19 lakh.

Vinesh Phogat has Rs 19,500 in cash. The former wrestler has four vehicles, including a Volvo XC60 worth Rs 35 lakh, a Hyundai Creta worth Rs 12,02,000, a Toyota Innova worth Rs 17,04,442, a TVS Jupiter two-wheeler worth Rs 40,220, 35 grams of gold worth Rs 224,500 and 50 grams of silver worth Rs 4,500.

Former Haryana home minister Anil Vij, who filed his nomination from Ambala Cantonment, has movable assets worth Rs 24,51,989.78, including a Maruti Swift Dzire VXI car worth Rs 2,96,000. His immovable assets are worth Rs 1,25,00000.
